About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Sole Source for the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA Healthcare System, Network 10). The VA intends to award a sole source contract to Biosense Webster for a CARTO 3 System Hybrid Bulk Catheter and Generator, with NAICS code 339113. The medical equipment provides advanced 2D, 3D, and 4D mapping technologies, and will be deployed at the Richard Roudebush VA Medical Center in Indianapolis, Indiana.
The solicitation allows potential vendors to submit responses demonstrating why competitive bidding might be advantageous to the government. Responses must be emailed to Contracting Officer Dwight Petsche by 1:00 PM EST on 3/13/2025, with no telephonic inquiries permitted. The VA believes Biosense Webster is the only vendor capable of meeting the specific equipment requirements, and a trade-in credit for existing equipment is part of the procurement process.
