DESCRIPTION OF REQUIREMENT

PURPOSE AND OBJECTIVES:

The purpose of this procurement is the acquisition of LeeCo micro valves for BioRAPTR and GNF dispenser valve, LeeCo micro disk pump and BioRAPTR 2 Plate Nest Clamp

Purchase Description:

The NCATS fleet of BioRAPTR 2s and the GNF robotic platform dispensers are devices integral and heavily utilized for NCATS mission to develop and perform medicinal compound discovery activities. These valves can degrade and fail due to normal use and are considered a consumable component. Replacement valves are necessary to continue the activities of assay development and performance. The requested micro disk evaluation kit will be utilized to develop an in-line semi-automated cleaning system and protocol for our fleet of BioRAPTR 2s and potentially for other liquid handlers employed at NCATS. LeeCo does not supply directly to Government entities and therefore Let’s Go robotics has previously supplied LeeCo valves as well as direct support. Let’s Go Robotics will also be employed to assist in the development of the micro disk in-line semi-automated cleaning system and protocol. Let’s Go robotics will also supply a replacement BioRAPTR 2 plate nest clamp. NCATS does not currently hold any plate nest clamps. As these components occasionally fail, it is recommended to acquire one to have to maintain continuity of activities.
