FDA requires a CFSAN-2023-116652 Sciclone G3 NGSxiQ Workstations, Sole Source, under Request for Quote FDA-RFQ-CFSAN-2023-116652. This is a request for the procurement of a Sciclone G3 NGSxiQ Workstations, and the instrument is solely distributed by the manufacturer/subsidiaries and official distributors, with no thirty party re-sellers. The Perkin Elmer Sciclone G3 NGSxiQ is capable of automating the standard library procedures for a variety of platforms including the Pacific Biosciences Sequencer, and Illumina sequencers. Another valuable characteristic of this machine that is crucial to the mission of the Division of Microbiology is the high throughput accomplishment of the previously described functionality. Past equipment has only been able to process 12 samples at a time, slowing down our ability to respond quickly to foodborne outbreaks. The Sciclone is able to process 96 samples at a time, with 96 samples being done within a workday. Being able to process 96 libraries in one day will allow us to be able to run the three MiSeqs we have 24-hours a day maximizing its efficiency. Another advantage of the Sciclone is the ability to use original manufacturer provided reagents and not being forced into buying third party kits. The instrument is solely distributed by the manufacturer/subsidiaries and official distributors, with no thirty party re-sellers

The associated NAICS Code is: 334516-Analytical Laboratory Instrument Manufacturing. Offerors must have an active registration in www.SAM.gov, with completed representations and certifications, by the close date of the solicitation.

This notice is not a request for competitive proposals. However, any party that believes it is capable of meeting this requirement as stated herein may submit a written capability statement that clearly supports and demonstrates their ability to perform the requirement. Capability statements must be mailto:USInstrumentOrders@perkinelmer.com received by the response date and time of this notice. Submissions will be reviewed to determine if they can meet the requirement. A determination by the Government to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government.

It is anticipated that an award will be issued to PerkinElmer Health Sciences Inc., within approximately fifteen (15) days after the date of this notice unless the Government determines that any other organization has the capacity to meet this requirement.
