Responses to this non-competitive solicitation must show how competition would benefit the government and are due no later than July 2, 2020 by 2:00 PM MST to Shanna Guillen, Contract Specialist at 341 CONS, Malmstrom AFB.

Notice of Intent to Sole-Source: The 341st Contracting Squadron (CONS) – Malmstrom Air Force Base, Montana intends to award, on a sole-source basis, a contract to GEFCO Inc. for the diagnosis and repair necessary for a 2013 GEFCO 50K-T Well Water Drilling Machine for the 819th Redhorse Squadron. This particular well drilling machine is one of four in the entire DoD and is proprietary to GEFCO Inc. The Gardner-Denver mud pump will need complete overhaul of the pump pistons, oil stop head ring and oil stop packing kit. The power pack will need a cylinder head gasket, rubber liner sleeves, and guide bushings. In addition, the well rig will need a new dust tube assembly, cable rest pad, sliding guide frame, break -out wench, cam roller bearings, valve handle assembly, air cylinder, power view, fluid cylinder and pump bearings.
THIS IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE OFFERS and a solicitation will not be issued. All responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered. Any response to this notice must show clear and convincing evidence that competition of this requirement would be advantageous to the Government. All responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency. If no affirmative written response is received, the award will be made without further notice. Oral communications are not acceptable in response to this notice. RESPONSES ARE DUE NO LATER THAN 2 JULY 2020 by 2:00 PM MST at 341 CONS, Malmstrom AFB to Shanna Guillen, Contract Specialist, shanna.guillen.2@us.af.mil.
