About this file
The document is a Notice of Intent to Single Source from Collier County, Florida, specifically the Procurement Services Division, concerning Evoqua Water Technologies LLC. The county intends to designate Evoqua as a single source provider for water and wastewater treatment systems from July 3, 2025, to September 30, 2029, without competitive bidding. The scope includes odor control systems, supporting chemicals, components, and services for installation at Master Pump Stations, Submaster Pump Stations, and Water/Wastewater Treatment Facilities. These systems encompass various branded technologies such as Envirex and Davco Rim-Flo and Tow-Bro Circular Clarifiers, Chain and Scrapers Systems, Rotating Biological Contractors, Gravisand Traveling Bridge Filters, and numerous other specialized water treatment technologies.
The document outlines a process for potential vendors to contest the single source designation by submitting documentation proving alternative qualified sources by July 11, 2025, at 3:00 pm. Respondents are instructed to submit their information through Collier County's Online Bidding System and are explicitly told not to provide pricing. The justification for the single source designation appears to be based on the specificity and proprietary nature of Evoqua's water treatment technologies. All responses will be reviewed by the Procurement Services Division, which retains sole discretion in determining whether to maintain the single source status. The notice emphasizes that this is not a formal bid solicitation but a notification of intent to proceed with a single source procurement.
