Six (6) Month Extension to EP-W-17-017 – Information Technology Solutions - Business Information Strategic Support (ITS-BISS) III
Intent to Exercise Six Month Option to Extend In Accordance With (IAW) FAR 52.217-8:
NAICS Code: 541519—Other Computer Related Services. The US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has a requirement for continuation of services under the current contract, EP-W- 17-017, as described below. EP-W-17-017 expired on July 24, 2022. The services under this contract are critical and cannot lapse.
The Government has executed contract modification EP-W-17-017 P00005 IAW Federal Acquisition Regulations (FAR) 52.217-8. Executing contract modification EP-W-17-017 P00005 has extended the Period of Performance on contract by 6 (six) months from July 24, 2022, to January 24, 2023. This contract extension modification has been awarded to Booz Allen Hamilton (BAH), Inc., 8283 Greensboro Drive, McLean, VA 22102.
BAH, Inc. is best suited for continuing to provide the above indicated services and support for the requested six (6) month extension as they have the necessary infrastructure, personnel, and supplies already in place and fully functioning. This will guarantee continuity of services for the EPA while the Government completes the competition and award for the follow-on support services contract.
This notice will be posted for 15 days.
