About this file
Collier County, Florida has issued a Notice of Intent to Designate Single Source for Environmental Products Group (EPG), a procurement document released on October 15, 2025, with a submission deadline of November 5, 2025 at 3:00 pm. The single source designation covers OEM parts, services, and maintenance for county-owned street sweepers, catch basin cleaners, and sewer pumping trucks, specifically from Federal Signal Environmental Solutions - Vactor Manufacturing and Elgin Sweeper Company, through the vendor Environmental Products Group. The intended contract period runs from 10/14/2025 to 9/30/2028.
The single source justification is listed with "NO VALUE", indicating that the procurement is not tied to a specific monetary amount. Respondents are invited to contest the single source designation by providing documentation showing alternative qualified sources, though they are explicitly instructed not to submit pricing. All responses must be submitted through Collier County's online procurement portal, and will be reviewed by the Procurement Services Division, which retains sole discretion in determining the validity of the single source designation. The notice emphasizes that this is not a bid or quote solicitation, but rather an intent to award without competitive bidding if determined to be in the county's best interest.
