The 673d Contracting Squadron at Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson (JBER), Alaska, intends to award a firm fixed price, single-source contract to STRYKER CORPORATION, under the authority of FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i). The proposed contract action is for the acquisition of regularly scheduled preventive maintenance and calibration (on-site) for eight Stryker Neptune 3 ProCare Rovers (pn 0703-001-000W) and two Neptune 2 ProCare Docking stations (pn

0702-014-000W) located at the 673 Medical Group, Joint Base Elmendorf-Richardson, Alaska.

The 673 Medical Group requires a maintenance and service agreement that provides all personnel, equipment, tools, test equipment, transportation, parts, materials, supervision and other items and services necessary to perform preventive maintenance and calibration (on-site) for eight Stryker Neptune 3 ProCare Rovers (pn 0703-001-000W) and two Neptune 2 ProCare Docking stations (pn 0702-014-000W)

Period of Performance

Base Year: 1 Aug 22 - 31 July 23

Option Year 1: 1 Aug 23 - 31 Jul 24

Option Year 2: 1 Aug 24 - 31 Jul 25

The statutory authority permitting other than full and open competition for this simplified acquisition is

FAR 13.106-1(b)(1)(i).

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES AND NO SOLICITATION IS AVAILABLE.

The circumstances of this contract action deem one single source is reasonably available to fulfill the stated requirement. Interested organizations, who believe they can meet the requirement, may submit their capabilities and qualifications to perform the requirement in writing to terrell.singleton@us.af.mil and george.strand@us.af.mil no later than 10:00 AM, AKDT, Wednesday, 9 June 2022. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed effort on a full and open competition basis, based upon responses to this notice, is solely within the discretion of the Government. Oral communications will not be accepted in response to this notice. No request for proposals or quotes will be issued based upon this Notice of Intent.
