About this file

This notice announces the Federal Bureau of Investigation's intent to negotiate a sole source contract with Cherry Engineering, Inc. The FBI seeks to procure disruptors from Cherry Engineering for explosives ordnance disposal training. As the disruptors use proprietary technology and are the same devices used by other agencies and the FBI, maintaining continuity of training with field-used devices is critical. The FBI will negotiate with only Cherry Engineering under authority allowing sole source contracts when one source is responsible and no other supplies or services will satisfy requirements. Interested parties may identify their interests or capabilities statements by email to the identified point of contact by December 16 at 1:00 pm Central Time. A decision not to compete the contract based on responses is at the discretion of the government.
