NOTICE OF INTEND TO AWARD TO THE SINGLE SOURCE

PR#F3N0374031AW01

02 May 2024

The 700th Contracting Squadron (700 CONS/PKB), Kapaun Air Station, Bldg. 2767, D-67661 Kaiserslautern hereby formally announces the intent to award a firm-fixed price open market to the company:

Savance, LLC

2655 E Oakley Park Rd Ste 210

Commerce Township, MI 48390

The company provides software for electronic in-out boards. Per AFI 34-144 the school age program is required to “provide supervision and accountability procedures to protect children while in care.” Electronic Choice Boards offers a face to name feature where staff members can conduct accountability checks and know who is in each room.

This software provides for easy, real-time solutions, that keep track of our children throughout our school age facilities. Children choose which room they would like to go to via the electronic choice board. Staff keep track of our children throughout the day and parents can pick up their children by looking to see which room they are in via the electronic choice board.

Savance offers a unique product that is customizable, all software and hardware components are compatible, and therefore is the most cost-effective solution.

Savance offers a software and hardware products that are compatible and give the staff the opportunity to customize the electronic choice boards for each section. Their software, design and layout ensure that the School Age Programs can track each child reliably. If the program would purchase each component separately, comparability would not be guaranteed. Hence acquisition costs and maintenance would be tremendous.

In addition, current employees (system is currently in use at Andrews Air Force Base) are already trained to work with the Savance system and items. This lowers costs for installation, training, and maintenance of software and hardware.

This notice of intent is NOT a request for competitive proposals; however, all interested companies that identify to the Contracting Officer their intent and capabilities to satisfy the Government’s requirement with commercial items and are received within 6 calendar days after the date of publication of this synopsis will be considered by the Government.

A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract, other than to the single source identified, based upon responses to this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. Information received will normally be considered solely for the purpose of determining whether to conduct a competitive procurement. For specific questions, please contact the Contract Specialist, Mrs. Svetlana Allendorf, at svetlana.allendorf.ru@us.af.mil or telephone (049) 631-536-6885, or the Contracting Officer, Mr. Darrell Hafer, at: darrell.hafer.2@us.af.mil or telephone (049) 631-536-2839.
