About this file

This document is a Scope of Work for Lube Tank System Upgrades at the North Cambridge Facility, detailing a comprehensive facility infrastructure improvement project. The scope includes concrete pad construction for storage tank installation, electronic tank gauging system implementation, and lubrication tank and fluid dispensing unit upgrades. Specific requirements include installing one 500-gallon split compartment waste oil/coolant tank, two 275-gallon Roth tanks for coolant and power steering fluid, one 275-gallon Roth tank for windshield washer fluid, and associated equipment such as pneumatic pumps, hose reels, piping, and electronic monitoring systems with Pneumercator TMS 4000 sensors and probes.

The project involves extensive technical work including concrete mat construction with steel reinforcement, installation of galvanized steel bollards, epoxy floor coating, remote fill cabinet installation, waste fluid collection troughs, signage, and comprehensive electrical and pneumatic connections. Additional requirements include providing prevailing wage labor, necessary equipment and tools, high lift services, decals, labels, and product identification signage. The scope demonstrates a detailed approach to upgrading fluid storage, dispensing, and monitoring infrastructure with specific technical specifications for each component of the system.
