About this file
This document is a Notice of Intent to Award for a state contract opportunity issued by the Georgia Department of Behavioral Health and Developmental Disabilities (DBHDD) for Laundry Linens Services. The solicitation was for fixed-price contract to provide laundry services, including the pickup and delivery of up to 25,000 lbs of laundry and maintaining daily par levels of up to 680 towels and 450 washcloths. The solicitation closed on December 20, 2023, and the State intends to award the contract to the apparent successful offeror, Bullard & Son Inc dba Brunson Laundry, for a fixed contract amount of $56,280.00. The unsuccessful offerors were Crown Health Care Laundry Services and GEW Inc., who were not the low bidders.
The bid tabulation indicates the suppliers were evaluated on several mandatory requirements, including timely submission, completion of the cost proposal, certification of non-collusion, and ability to meet the scope of work. All three suppliers passed the administrative review. The State may conduct further evaluation activities, such as contacting references, prior to finalizing the award. This contract does not appear to include any price matching options or other special cost evaluation considerations.
