About this file

This is a Notice of Intent to Utilize Cooperative Purchasing Agreement issued by the City of Thomasville, Georgia, announcing its intent to enter into a contract through Sourcewell, a cooperative purchasing organization. The City proposes to utilize Cooperative Purchasing Contract 052725-CXT, which was competitively bid via Request for Proposal and advertised nationally across multiple publications including the New York State Contract Reporter, USA Today, and Public-Purchase. The scope of work involves the delivery of a CXT Denali standard restroom unit with customizable options including paper towel holders, baby changing tables, ADA drinking fountain, door closures, hose bibs, ADA privacy latches, unisex signage, and triple-roll toilet paper dispensers. The contract represents a one-time purchase with a proposed term from March 2, 2026, through December 31, 2026. The supplier under the cooperative contract is CXT, Inc., with fulfillment through Hussey Seating's authorized dealer network, specifically Southeastern Surfaces and Equipment, the only authorized dealer in Georgia.

The estimated dollar value of the contract award is $140,933.27. The City selected this cooperative purchasing approach because it determined the CXT Denali restroom product best meets the functional requirements for installation at a public park facility. The cooperative contract was originally awarded on July 2, 2025. Any supplier capable of providing the same or superior products or services at equal or better value may file a written protest in accordance with the City's Procurement Policy dated December 11, 2023, available on the City's purchasing department website. Inquiries regarding this notice should be directed to Lori McCardle, Purchasing Administrator, or Eve Geyer, Project Manager, at the City of Thomasville's contact information provided in the notice.
