M68909-23-Q-7718 Notice Type: Special Notice

THIS SYNOPSIS IS FOR INFORMATIONAL PURPOSES ONLY. The Marine Corps Tactical Support Activity (MCTSSA) Camp Pendleton, CA intends to enter sole source negotiations and subsequently award a Firm Fixed Price (FFP) contract valued at an estimated $51,340.74 to GALT Aerospace, 3860 Calle Fortunada Suite 100, San Diego, 92123, United States (Cage Code: 7M4N7). This effort is estimated for award in the fourth quarter of Fiscal Year 2023. The place of contract performance is San Diego, CA at GALT Aerospace’s location.

The Marine Corps Tactical Systems Support Activity (MCTSSA) has a need to acquire TEPA Cables, which will be used to conduct experimentation on two RF terminals. The procurement will enable the Combined Joint All-Domain Command and Control (CJADC2) service initiative of Project Overmatch in support of Force Design 2030 and the Marine Corps Warfighting Laboratory’s (MCWL) efforts to improve interoperability between joint forces and proofing of operational concepts. Based upon market research, it is recommended to proceed with sole source award.

THIS NOTICE IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE PROPOSALS. Unless stated herein, no additional information is available. Requests for the same will be disregarded.

Responsible interested parties may submit a capability statement in which they identify their interest and capability to respond to this requirement. The Government will consider all information received within seven (7) calendar days after the date of the publication of the synopsis. A determination by the Government not to compete this requirement based upon responses received as a result of this notice is solely within the discretion of the Government. All submissions become Government (USG) property and will not be returned. Contractors are advised the USG will not pay for any information or administrative costs incurred in response to this notice of intent.
