MEMORANDUM FOR INTERESTED PARTIES

Subject: FA9101-25-Q-B043 Synopsis of Proposed Contract Action for NFAC Switch Matrices

1. This is a synopsis of proposed contract action for commercial supplies prepared in accordance with the format in FAR 5.207.

2. The proposed contract action is for the Arnold Engineering Development Complex (AEDC) requirement for two (2) 46kC 256x256 Solid State Switch Matrix systems manufactured by Precision Filters, Inc., to support National Full-Scale Aerodynamics Complex (NFAC) operations. Each complete system consists of:

• Qty 1 - 464kB-R1 Mainframe with Front Panel, Controls and Displays, Midplane and Labeling

• Qty 1 - 464kd-ACPS Power Supply

• Qty 1 - 464kC-C5-S1T Control with Ethernet

• Qty 1 – 464k-GUI-WIN Graphical User Interface for 464K System

• Qty 1 – 464k-TEST-WIN Factory Acceptance Test Software

• Qty 8 – 464kC-I-MP2-(2) 16x31 Input Card, 32 Shielded-Pairs

• Qty 8 – 464kC-O-MP2-(2)31x16 Output Card, 32 Shielded Pairs

• Qty 8 – 464kB-INTER-(4) 16x16 Interstage Switch Module

• Qty 1 – SM24B Slide Mount Kit, 24” for 464k Mainframe

• Qty 2 – 464k-I/O-TEST Test Cable (2 required per system for FAT test)

• Qty 16 – 464k-I-SHORT Input shorting Test Adapter (2 required per input card for FAT test)

• Qty 32 – CONN-OUT-50D-A 50-Pin Mating Output Connector with Crimp Pins for

Output Connectors on MF with 0.59” diameter cable entry (A5092G5)

Each system will be delivered to NFAC at NASA Ames Research Center located at Moffett Field, California (CA). Additional details may be found in Attachment 1 – Technical Requirement NFAC Switch Matrices.

3. The North American Industry Classification System code (NAICS) is 334515, Instrument Manufacturing for Measuring and Testing Electricity and Electrical Signals, with a Small Business Size of 750 employees. The Product/Service Code (PSC) is 6625, Electrical and Electronic Properties Measuring and Testing Instruments.

4. The Government plans to solicit and award one (1) single source, firm-fixed-priced (FFP) purchase order to Precision Filters, Inc., 240 Cherry Street, Ithaca, NY 14850; CAGE Code:

59056; Unique Entity ID: W5KLWDADBQN7. However, all responsible sources may submit a capability statement, proposal, or quotation, which shall be considered by the agency.

5. Questions and comments regarding this notice are due no later than 10:00 a.m. central standard time (CST) on 30 April 2025 and shall be submitted via email to Leslie McGowan, Contracting Specialist, at leslie.mcgowan, and Brogan Fullmer, Contracting Officer, at brogan.fullmer@us.af.mil.
