SELECTION JUSTIFICATION

Reclamation did not solicit full and open competition for this award based on the following criteria:

Beginning over 25 years ago, Dr. Peer Moore-Jansen, with Wichita State University, began working with Reclamation collections at a select group of Reclamation Projects. Over the last 25 years or so, Dr. Moore-Jansen continued to master his skills and interpretations concerning certain aspects of Reclamation project areas, specifically Glen Elder and Medicine Creek Reservoirs. Dr. Moore-Jansen’s unique qualifications and the potential continuation of his research with the collections is an extremely important component to the continued success of Reclamation’s legally mandated project/program
