About this file
This notice of intent outlines service plan agreements for light scattering and refractive index detectors. The National Institute of Allergy and Infectious Diseases intends to award firm-fixed price contracts from March 2024 through March 2025 to Wyatt Technology Corporation for silver and gold service plans. The service plans cover maintenance and support for seven instruments and include repairs, annual inspections, loaner equipment, and priority support. The instruments are used to characterize proteins and conjugates for vaccine research, development, and manufacturing. A sole source justification is cited as Wyatt is the original equipment manufacturer with qualified technicians and replacement parts necessary to maintain this specialized scientific equipment. Responses to the notice were due by January 2024 to be considered, with any contract award at the discretion of the agency.
