Notice of Intent to Sole Source HT941026N0092
THIS IS A NOTICE OF INTENT TO AWARD A SOLE SOURCE PURCHASE ORDER CONTRACT AND IS NOT A REQUEST FOR COMPETITIVE QUOTES. The Defense Health Agency Contracting Activity (DHACA), Healthcare Contracting Division - West (HCD-W), Echo Branch intends to negotiate and award a firm-fixed price purchase order (PO) contract for the provision of all services, materials, and equipment necessary to provide required Medbridge Essentials and Care Essentials Subscriptions for Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC) in accordance with Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR) 6.302-1 Sole Source acquisitions and FAR 12.102 (a) only one source being available to meet the Government’s needs, to:
Medbridge Education, LLC.
107 Oconnor ST Menlo Park, California 94025-2630
UEI: MLK3EKQCH4A5
CAGE: 7VWF9
The North American Industry Classification System (NAICS) code for this requirement is 513210 - Software Publishers; the business size standard is $47.0 (millions of dollars). The Product Service Code (PSC) is 7K20 - It and telecom - storage products (hardware and perpetual license software). The requirement is for a Medbridge Essentials and Care Essentials subscriptions contract for Madigan Army Medical Center (MAMC). The MedBridge platform is a critical component of physical therapy, occupational therapy, and musculoskeletal rehabilitation. It directly impacts patient-centered care by extending clinical instruction into the patient's home via secure, mobile-guided exercises.
Without this platform, providers cannot securely deliver or track custom home exercise programs. This will result in decreased patient compliance, longer recovery times, and an increase in avoidable in-clinic follow-up appointments—ultimately reducing overall clinic capacity and patient access to care.
