PLEASE READ THIS NOTICE CAREFULLY AS IT CONSTITUTES THE ONLY NOTICE THAT WILL BE
PUBLISHED. The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) intends to award a one-time, firm-fixed price contract for Operation, Maintenance, Repair, and Support Contract for Audio/Video (A/V) systems to
Serco, Inc. (SERCO) via sole source contract. The Critical Incident Response Group (CIRG) requires an
Operation, Maintenance, Repair, and Support Contract for A/V systems which will serve to provide for remote teleconferencing capabilities internally, throughout the many FBI sites and field offices, and with other government agency partners as well as academia and private industry partners, to include LEGATs and other entities that operate abroad. Due to substantial portion of the work to be performed including platform integration of the previously executed engineering, configuration, and related systems programming, the design and implementation of the existing system is unique to
Serco and would otherwise require lengthy exploration, discovery, and redesign to keep functional;
especially critical in a ‘No-Fail Mission’ environment as is the case with CIRG.
This notice will be distributed solely through the SAM.gov website. Interested parties are responsible for monitoring the SAM.gov site to ensure they have the most up-to-date information about this acquisition.
The associated North American Industrial Classification System (NAICS) code for this procurement is 541990 – All Other Professional, Scientific, and Technical Services.
The Government intends to negotiate with only one source under the authority of FAR 6.302-1. This notice of intent is not a request for competitive quotations; however, interested parties may identify their interests, capability, and authorized reseller letter by responding to this requirement by contacting Naporshia Jackson via email only at NLJackson@fbi.gov, no later than 9:00 am (CST) on Monday, April 29, 2024. Responses sent via other means (i.e., via telephone call, facsimile transmission, etc.) will not be considered. Information received will be used solely to determine whether to conduct a competitive procurement. A determination by the Government not to compete this proposed contract based upon responses to this notice is at the discretion of the Government.
Vendors must be registered in the System for Award Management (SAM), effective July 29, 2012, to receive government contracts. The FBI utilizes a financial system that has a direct interface with the SAM.
Please ensure that your company’s SAM information is updated and accurate. This includes UEID #, EFT, addresses, and contact information. The EFT banking information on file in SAM will be what the FBI uses to process payment to your organization.
