This document is a Notice of Intent to Award Sole Source contract issued by the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Environmental Management Consolidated Business Center. DOE intends to award a contract to Neptune and Company, Inc. for specialized technical services related to the West Valley Demonstration Project (WVDP) and Western New York Nuclear Service Center (WNYNSC), utilizing Neptune's West Valley Probabilistic Performance Assessment (WVPPA) model.
The sole source contract encompasses comprehensive probabilistic performance assessment modeling and support for Phase 2 decommissioning decision-making, including development of decommissioning alternatives, technical analysis of erosion controls, engineered barriers, waste tank farm modeling, downstream human dose risk evaluation, and supplemental environmental impact statement preparation. Interested responsible sources must submit a written notification of interest and capability statement by 5:00 PM Eastern Time on May 23, 2025, via email to jennifer.splitt@emcbc.doe.gov or angela.cooney@emcbc.doe.gov.
