4. Is there a required font/font size for the application? Can the font size be different between narrative and charts?
a. Use an easily readable font, such as Times Roman, Arial, Courier, or CG Times. The text and table portions of the application must be single-spaced and submitted in not less than a 12-point font. Applications not adhering to 12-point font requirements may be deemed non-responsive and returned. For charts/graphs, footnotes, and budget tables, you may use a different pitch or size font but not less than 10-point or size font. It is vital that the charts/graphs are legible when scanned or reproduced. Please refer to the HRSA SF-424 Application Guide for more information about specific formatting guidelines.
5. For the Work Plan Matrix, is there a requirement for the project activities to be organized by core activity, or can those be referenced in the description of the Matrix?
a. Project Activities do not need to be organized by Core Activity, but the description of each Activity should include which Core Activity it is addressing.
6. Can you provide details about the scope and content of the Progress Report? Is there a specific format to follow? Should the Report include all completed work in the entire three-year cooperative agreement?
a. The Progress Report attachment is only required for organizations that have previously received NOSLO funding. The Report should include previously stated goals in your application and emphasize the progress made in attaining these goals and objectives. It should include accomplishments achieved in relation to the objectives of the program during the current period of performance (September 1, 2020 through August 31, 2023). The report should detail program activity results through May 2023 and can report on all planned activities from May 2023 through the end of the period of performance (August 31, 2023).
