NNX17GA12P Questions and Answers

1. To clarify, scope of work is to provide one supervisor and four technicians, three days per week to sort recyclables:

0. Collection only, no sorting required. The staffing level is based on the history with the current contractor, they are traveling to the site. Another group may be able to perform the task with a different staffing level, depending on their location.

1. Will bidder be responsible for providing containers for the sorted recyclables?

1. No, containers are provided and replaced by NASA

1. Will bidder be responsible for transport to the recycling facilities?

2. No, they deliver to multiple collection containers on base which are emptied by an outside contractor.

1. Are there specific days of the week that service will be provided?

3. The days may vary because of client training schedules, bad weather, etc. Three days of approx. 8 hours with travel time has been the historical norm. The only requirement is normal working hours. Normal business hours for the base are 08:00 to 04:30

1. Are you wanting hourly, daily, monthly, annual, or some other rate structure?

4. This is a firm fixed price, 1 year contract

1. Is there GFE (equipment) or GOV (vehicles) provided for this effort?

5. A government furnished trailer which will need to be towed by contractor. (Approx. 1 ton capacity trailer)

1. Are there special badging requirements?

6. Attached is the I-9 Documents required to obtain a NASA Federal Credential / Photo Identification Badge.

1. Any unique training required to perform this work on the site?

7. No unique training required
