Carbon Fiber Telescope Specifications
1. Telescope optics: Schmitt-Cassegrain
2. Input aperture: 400 mm
3. Focal length: 2,000 mm
4. Telescope length: 1,100 mm
5. Field of view: Adjustable between 0.25 and 1.0 millirads
6. Telescope body: Made of carbon fiber-plastic
7. Input aperture: Protected by optical window for operation between 355 and 1064 nanometer spectral range
8. Scattering spot: Less than 150 μm (with protective window); best effort to achieve 50 μm spot Location of telescope focus: Beyond rear flange, exact position to be specified by customer.
9. Telescope mount: Telescope attached to a fork for use in measurements at any angle from horizon.
10. Aluminum Plate: An aluminum plate will be located on the side of the telescope for mounting a laser (Quantel Q-Smart or similar) and beam expander optics. The aluminum plate for fixing laser and collimator shall have the following dimensions
1. Length: between 800 and 1200 mm
2. Thickness: between 8 and 15 mm
3. Width: between 250 and 400 mm
Vendor shall supply all drawings before manufacture.
Possible descriptive images of a candidate system are shown below.
