Questions and Answers 3/5/20
Question 1: Is there access to the black water tank interior, and what is the black water tank?
There is access through an inspection plate on the top of the tank. There maybe residual waste in the tank currently, but the boats have not been in active use for several months.
Question 2: Can we weld on the boat?
You can not weld on the boat due to the sensitive electrical equipment in close proximity. Using a saw to create the necessary holes in the bulkheads is fine.
Question 3: The float switch is provided. How is it to be mounted?
The float switch will need to installed by drilling through the side of the tank, and bolting through the outside tank, which squeezes the seal together. The switch will be connected with a 24 volt power source and a government provided light that will be mounted by the vendor in the head.
