About this file
This document is a Questions & Answers file for Solicitation No. NIST-RFQ-25-7302189 regarding Eaton 9PX Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS). The document addresses two key questions from potential vendors: first, confirming that both "G1" and "G2" Eaton UPS models are acceptable, with the G2 models specifically requiring a 10-foot L6-30P input connection; second, clarifying delivery terms which are FOB Destination to the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Building 301 Shipping & Receiving at 100 Bureau Drive.
The delivery requirements specify that all items must be delivered no later than 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). The contractor is responsible for packing, marking, and delivering the shipment in good condition, and assumes liability for any loss or damage prior to the consignee's acceptance. The solicitation involves procuring Eaton 9PX Uninterruptible Power Supplies, with flexibility for vendors to provide either G1 or G2 model systems that meet specific technical requirements.

Questions & Answers Solicitation No. NIST-RFQ-25-7302189
Eaton 9PX Uninterruptible Power Supplies (UPS)
1. Eaton models specified in the RFQ are "G1" models of Eaton UPS systems, and they have been replaced by "G2" models, that have a different part number but are in all other ways identical just newer and better. Will “G2” models be acceptable?
Both G1 and G2 models will be technically acceptable, the G2 models are acceptable if the 9PX6KG2 includes a 10-foot L6-30P input connection.
2. Would this need dock to dock, liftgate, inside delivery or liftgate plus inside delivery? Would this be ship complete or could we have multiple shipments from multiple sources?
Delivery shall be FOB Destination and shall occur no later than 30 days after receipt of order (ARO). FOB Destination means: The contractor shall pack and mark the shipment in conformance with carrier requirements, deliver the shipment in good order and condition to the point of delivery specified in the purchase order, be responsible for any loss of and/or damage to the goods occurring before receipt and acceptance of the shipment by the consignee at the delivery point specified in the purchase order; and pay all charges to the specified point of delivery.
All items shall be delivered to the following address: NATIONAL INSTITUTE OF STANDARDS AND
TECHNOLOGY (NIST) BLDG 301 SHIPPING & RECEIVING 100 BUREAU DR
