About this file

This is a Combined Sources Sought Notice and Notice of Intent to Sole Source issued by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST). NIST is seeking information from potential sources capable of providing Hexagon Spatial Analyzer Software license renewals on a sole-source basis with Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. (UEI: EK4EVQQNEFC6, located at 250 Circuit Drive, North Kingstown, Rhode Island 02852-7441). The procurement will be conducted under Simplified Acquisition Procedures for Commercial Items (FAR Part 12), with NAICS code 513210 (Software Publishers). If no alternate sources are identified, the Government intends to award the contract solely to Hexagon Manufacturing Intelligence, Inc. under the authority of FAR 12.102(a).

The procurement is for software support, upgrades, and license renewal of Spatial Analyzer software for the Research Facility Operations (RFO) Engineering Group at the NIST Center for Neutron Research (NCNR). NIST requires seven license renewals: one Spatial Analyzer Professional (Serial Number 7251), three Spatial Analyzer Ultimate licenses (Serial Numbers 2920, 2564, and 2013), and three Spatial Analyzer Analysis Cloud licenses (Serial Numbers sAhee7m, sAGU7Vj, and sA8FsS4). The RFO Engineering Group has utilized Spatial Analyzer software since 2008 for 3D metrology work to design, install, align, and maintain neutron guidelines and instruments, and Spatial Analyzer is the only software capable of opening and editing files in the Spatial Analyzer format. Interested firms must submit responses demonstrating capability to meet requirements by July 23, 2026, at 11:00 a.m. ET to Contract Specialist Robert Singman at robert.singman@nist.gov.
