About this file
This document contains industry questions and responses from the Federal Aviation Administration regarding Solicitation Number 693KA9-20-R-00005 for the National Airspace System Integration Support Contract IV. The FAA clarifies that the cost of hardware required for non-destructive evaluation should not be included in offerors' total proposed prices, as this hardware will be covered under separate task orders. Additionally, offerors are permitted to reference Section B from within other sections of Volume II, but Section B cannot reference other sections. The document also includes revised Sections A, M, and Amendment 0001 and 0002 of the solicitation relating to industry comments and corrections to typographical errors.

| 1 | L.20.19 | L.20.1.9 in the Final SIR states, “Ask for clarification if any exhibit, assumption, or instruction is unclear.” Following the Final Q&A, we would like to request clarification on the item below. |
Section: C.4.7.1.1; Page: C-38
Question: Relative to the FAA’s response to Question 38 from the recently released “FAA Responses 2.4.2020,” could the FAA please clarify the following regarding the cost of the NDE hardware. Does the FAA require that:
(a) The hardware required for the NDE should be included in the Offer’s total evaluation price or
(b) The hardware required for the NDE should NOT be included in the Offer’s total evaluation price, but instead the cost of NDE hardware will be covered at a later date and will be paid for by the FAA under a Contract Management specific Task Order
| Alternative (b) applies. | ||
| 2 | L.18.2 | For Volume II B, Section L.18.2 clearly states that, “The Offeror must not cross-reference any other sections or volumes in this L.18.2 submission.” However, Section L.18.3 is silent about Sections C,D, or E and the Government’s willingness to permit Offeror’s to reference other sections within Volume II. |
Can the Government confirm that Offerors are permitted to reference Section B from within the other sections within Vol II (e.g., within Vol II, Section C can reference Section B ... but Section B cannot reference Section C or any other Sections)?
Confirmed.
