Text version
1. In the SOW under “Purpose” section, it says “Safety shoes made outside of the United States will not be available for purchase, unless authorized by the Project Officer”. Is US made required for this solicitation? The Brand names (Wolverine, Hytest, Works, SRmax, Timberland PRO) listed under “Inventory” section do not make boots in the US. Yes – these brands are approved. That statement is needed, but also is why it says “unless authorized by the Project Officer”.
1. Place of Performance: Is delivery to NIH Poolesville MD location required, in addition to the main campus in Bethesda MD? Yes, that is required.
1. How many pairs of safety boots/shoes NIH expects to outfit the employees per year under this solicitation? 450 on average
