Questions and Answers:
1.) For the purposes of the bag sample requirement, will a larger-clear bag be acceptable? If awarded the contract, the bag will be the exact dimensions and color the solicitation calls for.
Answer: No, it must be a sample of the product as described in the solicitation.
2.) Will you please forward to me the Amount and the Awardee of the previous contract?
Answer: a.) $509,040.00 Base Year b.) Advant-EDGE Solutions, Inc., 927 Red Toad Road, North East, MD 21901.
3.) Can you pls send the solicitation in Word. We would like to type our response. Also do you want 5 copies and 5 “packages.” The samples are big and bulky. I want to make sure that is what you want. I would imagine you want 5 copies of the response and 1 sample of a package… Answer: Word document posted on the FBO website. 5 copies of the bid are required and one copy of the sample package (1 box, 1 tie, 1 bag) for the sample.
4.) I would greatly appreciate if you would not disqualify and accept an unprinted box along with a PDF Print-out showing how the print on the box will be if awarded the contract.
Answer: Due to the criticality of this item and the nature of the NIH mission we must receive an exact sample of what is required in the solicitation.
5.) Does our company need to retain the full product Liability for Hazardous Materials or just the specific CFR’s quoted in the solicitation?
Answer: You have to have the necessary certification for hazardous materials. Therefore it would be those quoted in the solicitation and any others that are applicable as well.
