The Administrative Services and Analysis Branch

(ASAB) falls under the OM and plans and provides management support, supply and property management, office services, employee wellness activities, conference services and audits, building support services, and much more.

ASAB also provides program office oversight for the cafeteria located on the NIEHS main Campus.

Approximately 1,000 employees of the Institute's staff including contractors are located in the David P. Rail

16.0. DEFINITIONS:

• Acceptable Quality Level (AQL). A predetermined value selected and used by the Government to distinguish between satisfactory and unsatisfactory' performance. The allowable leeway or variance from a standard before the Government will reject the specific services. An AQL does not allow the Contractor to knowingly offer defective service, but admits that defective performance may sometimes be unintentional.

• Contractor Personnel. Contractor and subcontractor employees performing working under this contract.

• Key Personnel. Contractor employees who are critical for achieving SOW objectives. Key personnel shall meet position qualification and experience requirements indicated in the SOW.

Identifies the key performance indicators of the contract that will be evaluated by the Government to ensure contract performance standards are met by the Contractor.

• Quality Assurance. A planned and systematic pattern of all actions necessary to provide confidence that adequate technical requirements are established; products and services conform to established technical requirements; and satisfactory performance is achieved. For the purposes of this document, quality assurance refers to actions by the Government.
