About this file

This document provides an overview of the process and deadlines for the FY24 National Fish Passage Program Bipartisan Infrastructure Law funding opportunity. Eligible projects must support restoring river, floodplain, and coastal connectivity and resiliency. Interested parties must submit a Letter of Interest by November 17, 2023 to be considered for funding. Those who submit a LOI will receive guidance on developing a full project proposal responsive to the published selection criteria. Regional review panels will evaluate and select proposals in February 2024 based on how well they meet program priorities and criteria. A ranked list of projects will then undergo national review by a subject matter expert panel in March 2024. Final selections that best align with the published NOFO criteria will be announced in Spring 2024. Invited applicants must submit a full application through Grantsolutions by December 31, 2024 to be eligible for FY24 funds under the National Fish Passage federal grant program administered by the Department of the Interior Fish and Wildlife Service.
