- Solicitation number
- NF-FS7100-22-01119
About this file
This document contains a request for information from commercial fishing vessels for a bottom trawl survey in the Gulf of Alaska and eastern Bering Sea. The National Marine Fisheries Service is seeking vessels with a minimum length of 120 feet, 850 horsepower, and able to maintain a cruising speed of 16.67 km/hour. The survey will cover a 144,493 square nautical mile area from May 26 to June 7, 2023. Vessels must have an auto-trawl system and winches to deploy trawl wire. Responses are due by June 15, 2022 and should include vessel specifications, experience, size of business, revenue and employees. The information will be used to develop a formal solicitation to charter commercial fishing vessels to conduct stock assessments of groundfish and crab.
