About this file
This document includes a Categorical Exclusion form and related federal contract opportunity. The Categorical Exclusion form documents a determination by the Federal Highway Administration that a pavement preservation project at Big South Fork National River and Recreation Area and Obed Wild and Scenic River qualifies for a Categorical Exclusion under the National Environmental Policy Act. The project involves asphalt patching, microsurfacing, pavement markings and other work within existing roadways. Relevant agencies made determinations of no effect to species and no adverse effect to historic properties.
The related federal contract opportunity is a solicitation by the Eastern Federal Lands Highway Division for the above pavement preservation project. The project cost is estimated between $1 million to $5 million and will be split into multiple schedules. Sealed bids from small businesses are due in March 2021. The opportunity identifies the location of the project and provides instructions for obtaining solicitation documents from the System for Award Management website.
