Connex® Vital Signs Monitor 6000 Series.

Designed by clinicians for improved patient outcomes.

Improve patient outcomes, safety and satisfaction The Connex Vital Signs Monitor provides automated, electronic capture of vitals data at the point-of-care eliminating transcription errors and giving the clinician more time to focus on the patient. This monitor also allows data to be stored directly in the device or sent directly to your EMR system dramatically reducing time spent capturing patient information and vitals measurements.

This device also features a unique, customizable blood pressure averaging program that can take numerous readings in succession, and then averages them for a more complete and accurate result. In a clinical study Welch Allyn found patients were 30% more likely to be misclassified as hypertensive or pre-hypertensive using the single reading method if their systolic blood pressures fell between 116 and 145 than when using blood pressure averaging.* With blood pressure averaging a clinician can achieve a more accurate blood pressure reading in order to provide the best treatment and care for their patients.

Improve practice efficiency and quality of patient care The Connex Vital Signs Monitor is a comprehensive, automated “all-in-one” vital signs device that eliminates the need to search for individual devices and makes the vitals capture process more efficient.

If you have an EMR system or are planning to implement one in the future, it’s imperative that your devices seamlessly connect and capture data. Welch Allyn leads the market today in working collaboratively with a wide portfolio of EMR companies to ensure our devices connect before ever reaching your office.

Improve practice revenue

Today you’re under more pressure than ever to comply with government mandates. That’s why we designed a home screen that groups functions needed for meeting current Meaningful Use requirements as well as assist with hypertension management in one place. This makes it easier to prove Meaningful Use compliance and collect valuable incentives for the practice.
