QUESTIONS & ANSWERS
1.In Section B.3 should our pricing portion of the proposal mimic the table provided or is this simply a model to list our pricing off of?
Your pricing should mimic the table provided. Please feel free to write your prices in on the table provided and scan & email the sheet at the time of submission.
2.In Section L of the RFP it mentions a five page maximum for the proposal. Should the employees resumes be condensed to fit into that requirement or will that be a separate attachment. We do not want to overload you with information although we want to make sure we provide everything within the guidelines that you have set forth.
The 5 page maximum excludes resumes.
3. Is there a contract start date? I did not see one while reading through the RFP.
The tentative start date will most likely be sometime in early November.
Can you please advise as to whether there is an incumbent contractor for Solicitation #NEARFP13-1? If so, could you please provide the contractor name and the contract number that was awarded?
The incumbent contractor for this requirement is:
Eastern Plant Sciences, LLC
Contract C12-02
ADDITIONAL CLARIFICATIONS:
If necessary, vendors may include additional information to supplement the price proposal (above and beyond the price table included on page 5 of the RFQ).
The NEA is currently operating under a Continuing Resolution (CR). The Government's obligation under this contract is contingent upon the availability of appropriate funds from which payment for contract purposes can be made. No legal liability on the part of the Government may arise until funds are made available to the Contracting Officer for this contract and until the Contractor receives notice of such availability, to be confirmed in writing by the Contracting Officer.
