Questions and Responses for Solicitation # NB771010-20-01930.
Question Number 1 What data rate does the data need to be streamed?
Response to Question Number 1 The data needs to be streamed at the rate that it is acquired (this is what streaming means). Because our minimum requirement for acquisition is 1 GS/s (one gigasample per second), a minimum streaming rate is 1 GS/s. This streaming rate must be satisfied at the same time as all other requirements (e.g. the data must be acquired & streamed at 16 bits, etc.). If a product indicates that the acquisition rate is some value X that is greater than 1 GS/s, the streaming rate must also be X.
Question Number 2 How long does the digitizer need to be able to capture for?
Response to Question Number 2 Because we require streaming, the digitizer needs to be able to acquire data continuously and indefinitely. If while streaming, the digitizer stops intermittently to store and/or transmit data, or if it has a limited acquisition time in streaming mode, it does not meet our specifications.
