About this file
This document contains the detailed technical specifications for an Optical Spectrum Analyzer required by the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) under Solicitation Number NB686100-24-02254. The key requirements include:
The system must cover a wavelength range of 350 nm - 1100 nm, with a wavelength resolution better than 30 pm. It must accept multimode optical fibers up to 800 um core size, and have remote control capabilities via RS232 and GPIB ports. Required performance specifications include wavelength accuracy better than ±0.3 nm, measurement noise floor of -75 dBm or better, dynamic range of 60 dB or better, and the ability to handle up to 100 mW input power. Delivery is required within 8 weeks after receipt of order, with a 2-week acceptance period. The system must be delivered to NIST in Boulder, CO.
