About this file

This document is a Statement of Work for maintenance services for a portable, low-field magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) system at the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) in Boulder, Colorado.

The key requirements include providing annual preventative maintenance and repairs for the MRI system, as well as software and updates to operate the system and obtain images in DICOM format. The period of performance is for one base year plus four one-year option periods. The place of performance is NIST's Boulder campus.

The related federal contract opportunity is a sources sought notice issued by NIST to identify vendors that can meet these requirements. NIST is seeking capability statements from interested vendors by May 13, 2024. The procurement is assigned NAICS code 811310 with a small business size standard of $12.5 million. NIST will use the responses to determine whether to proceed with a sole source or competitive procurement.
