Amendment 1 Questions and Answers
The purpose of this amendment is to poste questions and answers.
1. Question: Is the loading dock standard dock height and can it accommodate full size tractor trailer delivery?
Answer: There is no loading dock, as we stated. The truck delivering the batteries must come with a lift gate or method of getting the batteries to the ground level at the designated area, which is the same level as UPS room / battery area where the batteries will be replaced. There is no equipment to be provided by the government to help or support this unloading of the truck(s).
2. Question: What is the approximate distance from the loading dock to the basement level staging area? Elevator, ramp or stairs to get there?
Answer: There is no loading dock. The truck delivering the batteries must come with a lift gate or method of getting the batteries to the ground level at the designated area. There is no equipment to be provided by the government to help or support this. The batteries will need to be lifted using a pallet lift provided by the vendor from the staging area to the battery UPS room. All of this is at the same level, there is no need to use a elevator. The distance is approximately 200 yards from the staging area to the UPS room.
3. Question: What is the distance from the staging area to the battery racks/cabinets where batteries will be installed?
Answer: The distance is approximately 200 yards from the staging area to the UPS room.
4. Question: What brand of battery monitoring is currently installed on the existing batteries?
Answer: Phoenix Broadband battery monitoring.
