GCSS is seeking bid responses from licensed, qualified firms to furnish natural gas for a one-year contract period beginning July 1, 2024, with an option to renew for up to four additional one-year terms. The RFP provides details on the bid submission process, including the due date of April 12, 2024 at 1:00 PM, and the bid opening location. No pre-bid conference is scheduled.
The RFP specifies the required bid components, including a guaranteed consistent price per therm, and prohibits provisions for late or interest charges. GCSS reserves the right to award the bid to one or multiple bidders based on the best interests of the school system. The bid prices must be valid for the entire fiscal year, and the awarded vendor is responsible for any additional costs if GCSS has to procure services from an alternate vendor. GCSS is tax-exempt, and the invoicing will reflect only the AGL Base Charge.
