Statement of Work

For

ML-6697A Vacuum Rebuild Contract

This SOW is for the rebuilding of ten ML-6697A Vacuum Tubes.

NCTAMS Lant Det Cutler will ship ten ML-6697A Vacuum tubes to be rebuilt to the awardee of the contract within 10 working days of the awarding of the contract. In the event that a tube is beyond being able to be rebuilt NCTANS Lant Det Cutler will be notified and another tube will be shipped.

The tubes will be rebuilt to meet all tolerances, specifications, and capabilities per the enclosed data sheet from Machlett Laboratories Inc. circa 1967. The rebuilding and return of the tubes should be accomplished in no more than 10-12 weeks of the receipt of the tubes to be rebuilt. In the event that additional time is required, the contracting officer will be notified of the requirement for approval.

The tubes will be warrantied for no less than 3000 operational hours as recorded by the AN/FRT-31 transmitter.

The rebuilt tubes will be palletized for shipment to NCTAMS Lant Det Cutler. Each pallet of tubes will have Tilt and G-Force/Impact sensors attached. In the event that the attached sensors indicate excessive force or tilting, or if there is visible damage to packaging that has incurred during shipping, the shipment will be refused and returned to originator for inspection, testing and verification of the operational condition of the tubes, at the originator’s expense. If it is determined that the tubes are viable then they will again be shipped to NCTAMS Lant Det Cutler, again utilizing the same process denoted above.

The shipping address for NCTAMS Lant Det Cutler is:
