QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
| Q. | Do they need the lift to only be electrical or can it be electric/ hydraulic? |
| A. | Yes it can be electric/hydraulic, our main concern is that is not gas. We work in a chamber and cannot have fumes fill up our chamber and expose our employees to a hazardous environment. |
| Q. | Can you explain the maximum working height, maximum platform height, minimum platform height and also the height is achieved with 90’’ travel? It appears they are saying the deck of the lift starts at 51” collapsed and travels 324” up to the 375” maximum raised height of the deck off the floor and it needs 39”H guard rails? (The 90” non-extended height from the floor to the top of the guard rail of the deck minus the 51” on-extended height from the floor to the base of the deck equals a 39”H guardrail) |
| A. | See attached powerpoint. |
| Q. | Why the 5,000# max weight because an all steel constructed lift with this much travel will be closer to 6500#. |
| A. | This scissor lift has no wheels (Mounting Tabs: Four mounting tabs are required— one at each corner of the base with mounting holes. This will not be a wheeled unit) and we need our crane to hoist it into place and our crane has a 5000lb limit. Our old scissor lift is under 5000 lb. |
