QUESTIONS AND ANSWERS
One question regarding the RFQ has been received as of 15-JUN-2020. The question and its corresponding answer is listed below:
Question 1: SOW 3.2.2 – Please clarify SOW 3.2.2 Hunting tooth design conversion. Does China Lake want to replace the blades so the mixer will be a true full rebuild? If so, does China Lake want the new blades in the quote or in a separate line option?
Answer 1: The hunting tooth gear conversion is in the gearbox that drives the blades, independent of the blades themselves. The hunting tooth design provides a non-repeating rotating pattern so the blades do a better job of integrating the material being mixed. There is no reason to replace the blades as they are undamanged.
