The case is required to be fully welded in accordance with drawing note 2. The corner radius is at the contractor's discretion to produce the box, however, all seam shall be welded (sealed tight).

Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) Technical Program Office Procurement Requirements:

| 6. | First Article Test (FAT). The Contractor shall deliver one (1) each 3260AS1708-1 FAT unit, designated FAT-1 within six (6) weeks of contract award for Government review and approval. The Contractor shall provide a detailed inspection and material certification report for the FAT unit to verify that the first production representative unit meets all requirements of the Technical Data Package. The Government shall inspect the FAT sample and provide written authorization for the Contractor to proceed (or not) with the production lot within 7 working days of receipt. The FAT samples will be held by the Government and will not be returned or considered part of the production quantity. |
| 7. | Packaging. Covers shall be packaged and shipped to adequately protect the contents and from physical damage during handling, shipment and storage. |

Aircraft Armament Equipment (AAE) Technical Program Office Procurement Requirements:

| 3. | Production/Delivery : The Vendor shall manufacture and provide: |
| i. | 65/each 3260AS1709-1, Enclosures |
Delivery requirements – 8 weeks from First Article Test (FAT) approval
ii. 1 each First Article Test (FAT) units in accordance with section 4. First Article Test (FAT).
Delivery requirements – 6 weeks from Contract award
iii. Delivery Address:

iv. The vendor shall include an itemized invoice with each shipment. The invoice shall include, at a minimum, the contract number information, and quantities of items being delivered.
4. First Article Test (FAT)
| i. | Prior to initial delivery of Production items, the Vendor shall provide 1 each First Article Test (FAT) Sample to the Government for review and approval. |
| ii. | The FAT Sample shall be manufactured in accordance with the requirements of the applicable drawings using the same manufacturing processes and materials that will be used for the production units. |
| iii. | The FAT Sample items will be inspected by the AAE TPO Government Representative to ensure they meet any or all requirements of the applicable design drawing. |
| iv. | The AAE TPO Government Representative will provide inspection approval or disapproval of the FAT Sample to the PCO within seven working days of receipt. If the FAT Sample is not approved, the AAE TPO Government Representatives will provide a report to the PCO detailing the reasons for disapproval. The PCO will notify the Vendor as to the acceptance or disapproval of the FAT Sample. |
| v. | Should the FAT Sample be disapproved by the AAE TPO Government Representatives, the Vendor will be required to submit additional FAT Sample(s) until such time the FAT Sample is approved. |
| vi. | The FAT Sample will held by the Government and will not be considered part of the production quantities. |
| 5. | Production Lot Acceptance |
| i. | At the option of the Government, the AAE TPO Government Representative shall perform Lot Acceptance Testing (LAT) on the production quantity delivered. LAT will consist of physical examination and/or inspection of units from the production lot in accordance with the requirements of the applicable design documents. Should the AAE TPO Government Representative find any discrepancies during LAT, the AAE TPO Government representative will notify the PCO who will notify the Vendor in writing within seven working days of delivery. |
| ii. | In the event of failure of a production lot to pass LAT, the production lot shall be returned to the Vendor at the cost of the Vendor. The Vendor shall examine all items of the production lot and correct the deficiencies having resulted in the inspection failure. The production lot shall be re-submitted for re-inspection for Government approval. In accordance with the provisions of FAR-52.246-2, Inspection of Supplies – Fixed Price, the Vendor is responsible for the cost of re-inspection. Non-conformity does not negate the Vendor’s responsibility to meet delivery schedules. |
| 6. | Serial number assignments/Markings |
| i. | Mark the 65 each Production serial numbers in the text box indicated on drawing number 3260AS1709-1. Serial numbers assigned shall be 0010 through 0075. |
| ii. | Mark the 1 each FAT sample serial numbers in the text box indicated on drawing number 3260AS1709-1. Serial numbers assigned shall be FAT1. |
| 7. | Packaging |
| i. | The Enclosures shall be palletized and packaged by the vendor such that they arrive safely at the destination and undamaged. |
| ii. | Enclosures shall be packaged and shipped using best commercial practices. |
