About this file

This document is a Solicitation Questions and Answers file addressing twelve inquiries regarding a commercial dishwashing equipment lease opportunity.

The solicitation concerns leasing of a commercial dishmachine to replace an existing Champion 44 PRO unit (Serial #RP22104006). The equipment must meet NSF certification standards and specific operational parameters including 480v, 3-phase electrical service (48 amps minimum, with 50-amp and 70-amp breakers available), 1/2 inch water inlet, 1.5 inch drain connection, final rinse pressure of 20 psi at minimum 180 degrees Fahrenheit, wash temperature minimum 160 degrees Fahrenheit, conveyor speed maximum 5.8 feet per minute, and exhaust dimensions of 4 inches by 15 7/8 inches. Any NSF-certified commercial machine meeting these salient characteristics is acceptable; brand-name specifications and manufacturer authorization are not mandatory. The contract start date is September 1, 2026, with removal and installation of the leased machine required within the first 30 days, including operator training during initial setup. No temporary warewashing capability is required during changeover. The contractor may furnish the lease through a manufacturer, authorized dealer, or equipment lessor while retaining full prime contractor responsibility. Loading tables, unloading tables, deep sinks, flexible sprayers, booster heaters, interconnecting hardware, and utility hookups are excluded from the monthly lease price. Preventive and corrective maintenance may be performed by authorized local service agencies or qualified subcontractors, with the prime contractor maintaining responsibility for the 48-hour response requirement. The contractor is responsible for furnishing all detergents, rinse additives, sanitizers, chemical pumps, and chemical-delivery services. Security access for short-duration delivery, installation, and maintenance personnel requires only a valid Driver's License and Vehicle Registration with escort provision. A six-month contract extension through February 29, 2032 is priced under CLIN 5001 and will be exercised in accordance with FAR 52.217-8.
