1.0 PURPOSE: This Statement of Work (SOW) provides for EATON Uninterruptible Power Supply Battery Replacement as identified in Attachment R-11 of the Quote EATON SYSTEM 9390-120 ED105CBB01 (Building 512) EATON SYSTEM 9315-160 EV385ZBA01 (Building 514)
2.0 SCOPE: This SOW describes the task requirements to be performed, location and the materials specific to the project. Battery Replacement in UPS units as per quote which is inclusive of all parts and labor and warranty for the new batteries.
3.0 REQUIREMENTS: To replace and verify batteries on UPS Units in B512 and B514 and dispose of old batteries as per quote.
3.1 Task Requirements:
Performed During Installation:
TASK: Battery replacement (update) service includes, and is expressly limited to, those tasks set forth below. Due to the size and type of battery, testing and work procedures vary between battery jars above and below 100 watts per battery; work procedures may vary by UPS or related device and battery type and may be limited by safety requirements.
New Batteries: 1. Removal and EPA approved disposal of old batteries. 2. Installation utilizing proper torque values (where applicable) and verification of new batteries.
Visually inspect conditions and appearance of the following: 1. Connection terminals inter cell/battery connectors, cables and associated hardware. 2. Cell/battery covers, containers, and post seals. 3. Battery racks or cabinets and associated components and hardware. 4. Cell/battery jar or cover, noting any excessive distortion.
Perform cleaning of all accessible surfaces as required.
(Return the UPS Units to the normal mode of operation) Reporting of Battery Update Visit: 1. The technician(s) will issue the customer a verbal report summarizing the work that was performed, condition of the battery and identifying any critical issues before leaving the customer’s site. 2. A Field Activity Report containing applicable notes and observations will be sent to the customer within 5 business days.
3.2 LOCATION OF TASK: All buildings are located at Corry Station, 640 Roberts Avenue, Pensacola, Florida. BLDG 512/BLDG 514- Corry Station – Training Building
3.3 SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS: The contractor will dispose of all debris according to Florida regulations and best commercial business practices. The contractor will return the workspace to its original condition upon project completion.
3.4 SAFETY: The contractor will ensure that all navy safety policies are reviewed and method approved for adhesive use by base safety office, also that the use of Personal Protection Equipment (PPE) is enforced during project.
3.5 Billing and Payment Plan: Upon project completion, project invoice shall be submitted via the Wide Area Work Flow System. (Line Item KM 400063)
