SPECIFICATIONS

All services requested under this Scope of Work shall meet or exceed requirements set forth as follows for FRC Aviation Support Equipment Site New Orleans Building 559, and specifics for Room 113 (Controlled Access Room).

In accordance with the United States Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) regulations found in the Code of Federal Regulations (CFR) 1910, evaluation of employee exposure is required to ensure airborne concentrations do not exceed allowable concentrations, as well as determining whether noise levels generated from the use of the equipment exceed OSHA noise threshold levels. In addition, the Department of Defense (DOD) Directive Type Memorandum (DTM) 12-003 “Control and Management of Surface Accumulations from Lead, Hexavalent Chromium and Cadmium Operations” requires that all operations that generate these potential airborne contaminants assess the operations.

All personal monitoring conducted should address, as applicable, the following areas as it pertains to exposure to airborne contaminants present in the work environment per the OSHA, ACGIH, and NIOSH standards.

Recommended Exposure Limit (REL) Permissible Exposure Limit (PEL) Short Term Exposure Limit (STEL) Time Weighted Average/Threshold Limit Value (TLV)

ISO Standard 14644 for Clean Rooms requires compliance with best commercial practices employed for room filtration, temperature, pressure, and humidity control to achieve an airborne particulate cleanliness level equivalent to ISO 14644-1 and 14644-2, Class 8 or better.

SCOPE OF WORK

A. Monitoring for Base and three Option Years- General Site Survey Service Building 559

TASK 1
