About this file
This is an amendment (U0001) to solicitation N6852025Q0007 that extends the response due date from January 6, 2025 to January 8, 2025 and adds paragraph 3.4 to the Statement of Work. The amendment is issued by the COMFRC Procurement Group at Patuxent River, MD.
The underlying solicitation requires off-site abrasive blast cleaning and painting services for twelve Jet-Blast Deflector panels from the USS Theodore Roosevelt (CVN71). Each panel measures 14ft x 6ft x 1ft and weighs 2,100 lbs. The work includes aluminum oxide blasting, flame spraying sides with aluminum coating, applying METCO sealant, priming with Formula 150, painting with Formula 152 White (minimum 2 coats), and adding caution stripes. The government will deliver/pickup within 85 miles of FRC Southwest; beyond that radius the contractor is responsible for transportation. The contractor must provide a 12-month warranty and submit detailed Field Summary Reports and Certificate of Completion documentation. Technical oversight is provided by FRC Southwest personnel in San Diego.
