16. REMARKS

Block 4: Contractor format acceptable, DID provided for guidance only. MS Office 2016 format preferred. The QTR shall contain the following:

1. Contract number

2. Full description of demonstration procedures, time and date

3. 2BOSWRT operator name(s)

4. Detailed demonstration and validation of the following:

· Inspection of the 2BOSWRT

· Installation of WRFS

· Bi-directional cycling of the WRFS

· Display of maximum cable tension within required tolerance

· Display of maximum cable temperature under maximum allowance

Block 8: Approval and distribution statement required.

Block 9: Distribution authorized to the Department of Defense and U.S. DoD contractors only; “Critical Technology”; to protect information subject to the provisions of DoD 5230.25. Other requests for this document shall be referred to Naval Air Warfare Center, Aircraft Division Lakehurst, NJ 08733

Block 12/13: The contractor shall submit one (1) electronic draft NLT 10 days after the Test Readiness & Demonstration Review (TRDR). The Navy will review the technical content and return comments (if required) NLT than 10 days after receipt. Final electronic submission shall be made NLT 5 working days after comments are returned.

16. REMARKS

Block 4: Contractor format acceptable, DID provided for guidance only. MS Office 2016 format preferred. A single test report shall be compiled for all fatigued samples. At a minimum, the test report data shall include the following for each sample:

1. Sample ID

2. Date and time sample was installed on the 2BOSWRT

3. Date and time sample was removed from 2BOSWRT

4. Recorded number of fatigue cycles at failure

5. Monitored tension measurements

6. Monitored temperature measurements

16. REMARKS

Block 4: DID provided for guidance only. The contractor shall deliver each shortened wire rope fatigue samples to NAVAIR LKE. Samples shall be boxed and shipped in accordance with best commercial practice. The samples shall be shipped to the following address:

Naval Air Warfare Center Highway 547 Lakehurst NJ 08733-5035 Bldg. 148

Block 7: The packaged wire rope samples shall be inspected at the contractor’s facility by DCMA.

Block 8: The contractor shall return the 80 (eighty) wire rope samples that were fatigue tested on the 2BOSWRT.

Block 12: The contractor shall ship the wire rope samples NLT 10 working days after approval of the sample test data deliverable (A002).
