Solicitation # N68335-12-R-0126 – Rynglok Fitting Set

This is a Solicitation for commercial items prepared in accordance with the format in FAR Subpart 12.303, as supplemented with additional information included in this notice. This announcement constitutes the only solicitation. Quotations are requested by the United States Navy as a Request for Quote to purchase seven (7) each of the Rynglok Fitting Set. This quantity consists of a base quantity of two (2) each, and an Option for an additional five (5) each, exercisable at any time up to eight (8) months after contract award. Manufacturer is Eaton Corp. Part number is RTSK8-01-001. This is a commercial off-the-shelf product.

Award will be made to the lowest priced, responsible, qualified offeror. “Lowest Price” means the sum of the unit price times the quantity for CLIN 0001 plus that for CLIN 0002. A qualified offeror for this acquisition must be an authorized distributor or re-seller of the manufacturer, Eaton Corp, and must be able to deliver the product along with manufacture’s standard commercial warranty. Acceptance of the warranty does not waive the Government’s right under the inspection clause, nor does it limit the Government’s rights with regard to the other terms and conditions of the resulting contract. In the event of a conflict, the terms and conditions of the contract shall take precedence over the warranty. The warranty period shall begin upon acceptance by the Government of the delivered product.

All qualified, responsible sources may submit a quote which shall be considered by the agency.

All items shall be preserved, packaged, and marked in accordance with best commercial practices to ensure safe delivery. Two (2) each of the items (CLIN 0001) shall be marked for “MH-60R,” and five (5) each of the Option items (CLIN 0002), if and when Option is exercised, shall be marked for “FMS Australia.” Items shall be delivered to the Government no later than one hundred thirty seven (137) days after contract award.
